After Pakistan U19 s defeat against India U19s at U19 World Cup, Younis Khan criticizes PCB

Pakistan’s defeat in the hands of India at U19 World Semi finals raised many questions. Pakistan former cricketer Younis Khan criticized the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) for humiliating defeat.

Arch rivals India clinched 10 wicket win with close to 15 overs spare against Pakistan. Younis claimed that Ehsan Mani-led central industry for Pakistan Cricket in case of working on grassroot level with those youngsters is simply clueless. He showered praises on the Indian colts for performing a clinical show. The 45 year old who has 17 years of career experience said Priyam Garg’s  confidence and maturity levels were the major factors behind the one sided show.

Younis Khan said “Pakistan’s infrastructure needed to be improved but the PCB has absolutely no clue about what needs to be done. We first need to gain the confidence in the new generation by providing safety. Pakistan’s defeat in the U19 World Cup at hands of India is so saddening. The rival team played so confidently with maturity as I believe”.

India, Yashasvi Jaiswal’s unbeaten 105* in his ally Divyaansh Saxena company . The boys in blue ticked all the boxes and bowlers were backed by some spectacular fielding. In the U-19 World Cup history, it is the first 10-wicket victory. Younis said Pakistan colts need to be trained on alien venues to get accustomed to the conditions.

“  Pakistan Young Players rather than working on their skills rather need to be trained to be better rounded. Just because of the confidence India won the match. Our young rising stars should be given more chances to play abroad televising their encounters.”
