Afghanistan vs Ireland 2020- 1st T20I- predicted XIs, preview, venue

Afghanistan and Ireland were getting ready to collide with each other in the shortest format game to strengthen their team for the next approaching T20 World Cup to be held in Afghanistan.

The series will be taking place at Afghanistan’sadopted home venue Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida.

The series starts Blue Tigers being most of the favourites as they have many T20 Specialists in the squad including Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Mujeeb ul Rahman, Hazratullah Zazai. Last time in T20 series, these two teams competed where Zazai had blown away the bowling attack of Irish.

Ireland looking forward to improve their performance much from the last series and making Asghar Afghan’s side a run for their money in the next proceeding matches. Irish team will be lead by Andrew Balbirnie containing the likes of Paul Stirling, Kevin O’Brien and Josh Little.

The team’s most experienced players Stirling and O’Brien will be having onus of supporting Balbirine besides giving their contributions a bit towards bowling and batting departments. It will be the most exciting to see whether the two Irish stars will inspire their side to win in the three match series.
