Atharva Taide 'Heartbroken' As  He Throws His Wicket Off A Poor Delivery

Young Vidarbha batter Atharva Taide had a great performance in Punjab Kings’ last IPL 2024 game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Opening the inning with Prabhsimran Singh, the talented left-hander hit a fantastic 46 runs off 27 balls before T. Natarajan got him out.

This happened during the tenth over, when Taide and Prabhsimran had given Punjab a strong start. In the second over of his spell, Natarajan bowled a ball wide outside off-stump, and Taide tried to cut it.

Even though he hit it hard, the ball went straight to Sanvir Singh, who took a sharp catch at a backward point.

Natarajan’s timely wicket stopped Taide from getting a well-deserved fifty in the intense match.

Even though he’s a talented batter, Atharva Taide rarely got a chance to play for Punjab Kings this season. This was only his second game in IPL 2024, and he made his highest score against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In the game, even after losing his opening partner, Prabhsimran kept causing trouble for Pat Cummins and his team. As of now, the visitors have scored 128 for one in 11.5 overs, with Rilee Rossouw and Prabhsimran still batting.
