Marnus Labuschagne consider there’s no more difficulty than playing Indian team in their home conditions

Marnus Labuschagne was the most leading run scorer in tests in 2019 and he wished to start the 2020 as the previous year. He so easily smashed his maiden at SGC against New Zealand. His play helped Australia win the match by 279 runs and white wash series with 3-0.

In the ICC World Test Championship table, Australia reached within 64 points of India and it is a promising one that the next series versus India in next summer will be the most entertaining one to all cricket fans. Present Marnus Labuschagne getting ready to head against India for the ODI Series which starts on January 14.

Playing India is a tough series as they are very tough opposition as they contain very strong batters and bowlers. It is a big challenge for us to play India.

He said “ As a player one wants to play with best opponent to test himself in the toughest situations. In such cases playing India in India is the most toughest thing.”

In the five tests Labuschagne scored four test Centuries and well compared to the likes of Kane Williamson, Virat Kohli and Steve Smith. He steer clear off being compared to those and keep trust in himself that he can do more in consistency on his part. He said “ it will be so amazing to talk like that by the people but the hard work we do behind for anything to be called so”

Guys like Kane Williamson, Virat and Steve Smith were doing it for more than five, six, seven years but for me it is more like to make Australia win and to prove myself more consistent. Hence one good summer doesn’t make you a great player at all.

He is making his ODI debut against India. He have been in India for past few tours and learning lot of things from players those who have experience in playing IPL which is helpful for him in many ways.

Finally he concluded that “ I’ve got lot more to learn and got more experience to lean on with players with five, six, seven years of experience in playing IPL and Australia test tours over there”.
