After Australia against New Zealand Test Series resulted in 3-0 white wash, Shane Warne revealed that he would love five test series between India and Australia which is to be held next summer.
On 6th January, Australia thumped New Zealand with a difference of 279 runs at SCG. Nathan Lyon was the one who taken away the show by taking ten wicket haul while Marnus was the one who set up the entire game in the first innings.
Aussies were going to tour India at the end of 2020 as a part of ICC World Test Championship. Yet the number of Tests to be played by this pair is not yet known clearly, there is a murmur that it is going to be four game rubber.
Warne opinioned that it would be better if India and Australia clashes towards each other for five test series in the longest format. He said “ I would love like Ashes India – Australia series to be a five match series. The top test team in the world is undoubtedly India and second best is the Aussies. So it would be great if they would play in all different conditions across in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney with a couple of day and nights.”
Recently Indians competed against Bangladesh for the first pink ball test but the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly expressed his opinion that playing two Day and nights in Australia will be bit too much.
As both the nations were lined up with many assignments it is not known how many match rubber it contains and when the fixture list will be shown.
