Women’s T20 World Cup 2020- Megan Schutt says playing against India is going to be a hard fought game

Women’s T20 World Cup final is set to be held on March 8, Sunday  at the Melbourne Cricket Ground at which India and Australia were to lock horns against each other.

Both the teams have played each other once in group stage. Australian pacer Megan Schutt recollected the thrashing moment where she was given for four boundaries and got in an over from Shafali Verma.

In the tri-series too she was targeted by Verma and Smriti Mandhana and hence she believes that it will be a huge challenge to play India. Schutt said

“I just hate playing India- they  have got the wood over me.  Those two ladies got me covered. The biggest one I’ve ever been hit was that six Shafali hit me for in the tri series.”

Through out the World Cup campaign India ramping all the games by winning all their group stage. They also got rewarded for the same and even the semi final against England was washed out due to their previous wins. Keeping all these in view, Schutt believes that no other challenge is bigger than facing India in final.

On the other hand, Australia had a poor start in the World Cup by losing to India and almost giving away one game for Sri Lanka.

But against Bangladesh and New Zealand, they became a strong competing team and clinched away humdinger against South Africa to reach the final.

It is expected to be a record attendance set to be witnessing at the MCG to watch the grand final between India and Australia.
