Former Scotland spinner Majid Haq infected by Coronavirus

The 37-year old Ex-Scotland spinner Majid Haq has disclosed on twitter about he resulting positive for coronavirus test. He specially thanked all his well-wishers saying that he is already getting cured and the process of treatment is going on at the Royal Alexandra Hospital located in Paisley.

He played for Scotland at U-17, U-19, and U-23, in 2002 he made his debut for the senior side. In 2007, he represented his country side for the World Cup in the West Indies.

Majid was a handy batsman and was well known for his off-spin bowling. He lastly turned out for Scotland in the year 2015 in an ODI against Bangladesh.

After the retirement, the Pakistan descendant is now working as an accountant in Scotland. From the University of the West of Scotland he had obtained his honors degree.

Despite affected by COVID-19, Majid tweeted with a positive spirit and thanked the complete medical staff and others whoever involved in his treatment process. Until he recovers completely, the 37-year old is looking forward to make him under self-isolation. Majid vowed to return back as strong as even before.

In this explosive time, all the category of sports have been suspended including IPL , which is rescheduled to start on April 15th if the things were set till by time.
