The recent video was posted by Kolkata Knight Riders on twitter. In that video KKR captain Dinesh Karthik is seen shadow practicing while he is in self-isolation.
The coronavirus fear resulted in delaying major sports including cricket and the events like IPL 2020 have rescheduled to begin on April 15th, which was actually to be conducted from March 29th.
The video contains one minute long in which Karthik says that he is doing shadow practice a part of being connected to the sport. The 34-year old spoke about the few things which he is doing over the past three days mainly social distancing, washing hands and staying inside.
In the video he also urged all the fans to follow the three things which he also following to be safe and to make others safe.
“Stay away from others at least of minimum 6 feet. Secondly, please wash your hands and sanitize them frequently. Thirdly, most important thing to be safe and stay indoors as much as you can.”
By highlighting the importance of care of everyone, the captain finished off the video.
“Please Remember, it’s not about taking care of ourselves individually but it’s more caring of everyone around us.”
The wicketkeeper-batsman will be seen in action in the coming IPL 2020 to begin on April 15th, for the Kolkata Knight Riders side.
