IPL 2020- Jofra Archer spoke about his injury and chances of playing in IPL

The England and Wales Cricket Board stated that Archer will not be playing any game in IPL 2020 as he suffered an elbow injury. He might also be missing England’s tour of Sri Lanka. The chances of appearance in T20 extravaganza for Rajasthan Royals made possible because of his speed recovery.

His contract with Sussex was extended till 2022 season and he made a chat with Sussex website expressing how he had his fingers crossed for his appearance of the cash rich league this year.

“The elbow is quite fine and I didn’t felt it for the last few weeks so I think it is making good progress. He further added ‘ I don’t think I’ll forget how to play the cricket even if I keep myself away for the next couple of months.’

Archer taken 26 wickets at an average of 7.52 out of 21 games for the Jaipur based franchise which is more than acceptable in present days and age. undoubtedly he is a weapon for the Royals and he is monitored by them in a hope of playing for them this season.

For Archer 2019-2020 has been too critical longer as first winning the world cup and then competing the Ashes series and later went away to tour New Zealand and South Africa where he got injured.

The 24 year old though not willing to get injured was pleased to have some time off the game and he was able to reflect on everything he had achieved as a cricketer.
