MS Dhoni is all set to play Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings side in 2021 season. The commitment was given by the former ICC Chairman Narayanaswami Srinivasan and he is also the BCCI President who is right now managing director of India Cements.
Since last year’s World Cup, Dhoni made himself unavailable for any selections since the tournament and this 38 years old is now going to play IPL 2021.
T20 World Cup takes place this year later and the prediction over Dhoni’s future is quite common. This was brought to an end by Srinivasan stating that this wicket keeper batsman will be back in the next season IPL with CSK side.
Reporters were asking Srinivasan about Dhoni, how long will he and when will he play etc, he answered who has been left in the BCCI’s list of centrally contracted players.
At Entrepreneurs Organization event, Srinivasan announced that “ He will soon play and I can assure you that. He plays this year and will go to IPL auction next year and will retain there. No doubt in this in anyone’s mind.
He led India to two world titles previously – T20 World Cup 2007 and World Cup 2011 making 90 Tests and featuring in 350 ODIs. He played 98 T20 Internationals overall.
