The all rounder shouldn’t be exposed to intolerable work load – Pandya’s trainer

There were many discussions in the media earlier yesterday saying that Hardik Pandya was pulled out of the team who were about to tour New Zealand. It is mandatory for all Indian A players to pass the fitness test. His trainer S.Rajnikanth said that Pandya was neither asked for any fitness test nor he undergone any test.

His trainer said that he is fit and should continue his training but not be exposed to too much of work load in International Cricket.

Rajnikanth to TOI“ There is no doubt about his fitness as he is 100% fit. I think he need not take more work load of International matches. Not yet conducted any kind of test to Pandya and there is no question of him failing in fitness test.”

“Pandya will not play for India’s senior team series in New Zealand and will not in India A tour. He is not into the team not because of fitness issues, he can get 20 score in yoyo right now. The only reason he is out of the series is due to his bowling, though  he is doing his 20 meters effortlessly. The bowling work load is still in progress for international level.”
