India secured a five-wicket victory over England in the fourth Test held in Ranchi, sealing a Test series win. England’s young spinners, Tom Hartley and Shoaib Bashir, showcased impressive maturity during the morning session of day four, with Bashir notably taking three wickets to add to his five-wicket haul from the first innings.

Despite England’s efforts, they couldn’t set India a challenging enough target, allowing India to chase down the 192-run target comfortably, thanks to an unbroken partnership between Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel.

With India leading the five-match series 3-1, only one match remains.

Here’s the full fixture list and schedule of England vs India:

  1. January 25–29: 1st Test, Hyderabad – England won by 28 runs
  2. February 2–6: 2nd Test, Visakhapatnam – India won by 106 runs
  3. February 15–19: 3rd Test, Rajkot – India won by 434 runs
  4. February 23-27: 4th Test, Ranchi – India won by five wickets
  5. March 7–11: 5th Test, Dharamsala (4am start)

For viewers in the UK, TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) is broadcasting the series after securing an agreement just nine days before the series began. Matches can also be viewed on discovery+. Commentary is provided by Kevin Pietersen and Eoin Morgan.

Although the first Test lacked studio presence, TNT Sports flew in Alastair Cook and Steven Finn to Sweden for the rest of the series to provide on-screen analysis. Kate Mason serves as the studio host.

Live radio coverage is available on Talksport 2, rather than BBC Test Match Special. Talksport secured the broadcasting rights, broadcasting primarily from London with a reduced team present in Rajkot and Ranchi.
