Harry Brook, the English cricketer, returned to play after skipping IPL 2024 and scored a fantastic hundred for Yorkshire in the Second Division County Championship. He hit his 12th first-class century against Leicestershire at Headingley. Brook’s innings helped Yorkshire reach 246 for 6 before rain stopped play, leading to a draw. He chose to skip IPL 2024 after his grandmother passed away.

Brook made a quick century in just 69 balls, scoring an unbeaten 100 with 14 boundaries and two sixes against Leicestershire. His partnership with opener Adam Lyth set Yorkshire up well, declaring at 246 for 6. However, rain interrupted the game, and Leicestershire scored 26 for no loss before it was called off.
