Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam shared a special moment during Day 2 of the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Rizwan’s brilliant, unbeaten 171 runs on Day 2 helped Pakistan bounce back from a difficult position. His 239-ball performance was key in helping Pakistan reach a big total of 448/6. Captain Shan Masood later declared the innings. Rizwan’s century, his third in Test matches, along with Saud Shakeel’s impressive 141, brought Pakistan from a worrying 16-3 to a strong position.

As Rizwan headed back to the pavilion after his great innings, he shared a playful moment with his teammate, Babar Azam. Rizwan tossed his bat to Babar, who caught it with a smile, and the two shared a laugh.

The rest of the Pakistan team applauded Mohammad Rizwan’s amazing performance as they stood by the boundary, and the fun moment between Rizwan and Babar quickly went viral on social media.

The team was struggling at 16-3 on the first day, but Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel turned things around with a strong partnership. Together, they scored 240 runs, pulling Pakistan from the edge of collapse to a much better position.

By the time Shakeel got out, Pakistan had reached 354 runs. Rizwan then added 44 more runs with Agha Salman, who made 19. After Salman’s dismissal, it seemed the team decided to increase the scoring, and Shaheen Afridi quickly made an impact. In just 24 balls, Afridi hit a four and two sixes, reaching 29 runs before captain Shan Masood declared the innings.

At the time of the declaration, Rizwan was not out with 171 runs. Some fans on social media felt Masood should have let Rizwan go for his double century. However, after the game, Shakeel confirmed in a press conference that Rizwan had been informed about the declaration an hour earlier.
