Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag faced a lot of harsh criticism from cricket fans. He struggled to perform well on the field, and every move he made seemed to invite more criticism. But in a recent game against Delhi Capitals, he turned things around spectacularly.

Riyan Parag displayed his true skills and even had his mother watching him play. He was awarded the player of the match, and he became emotional when speaking after the game.

During the match, Parag was exceptional for Rajasthan Royals, scoring 84 runs off just 45 balls, which included 7 boundaries and 6 sixes. He particularly dominated against the renowned bowler Anrich Nortje, scoring 25 runs off his bowling. Despite Rajasthan facing difficulties at 108-4 in 15 overs, Parag’s outstanding performance helped them reach a total of over 180 runs.

His determination and drive were evident throughout the match, ultimately leading Rajasthan Royals to defend their score successfully and secure the victory.

Riyan Parag became emotional

During the post-game chat, Parag got emotional as he opened up about being trolled for the past few years and not being able to respond on the field. Having his mother present made this win feel special to him.

"Someone in the top four has to play the 20 overs, the wicket was keeping low and stopping, in the first game Sanju bhayya did it. I have worked very hard, the last 3 days I was in bed, I was on painkillers, I just got up today and I'm very happy."-Riyan Parag talked in the post game talk.

Everyone was impressed by Parag’s mature demeanor during the talk, even captain Sanju Samson. If Parag keeps up this level of play, Rajasthan could do really well this season, especially with two wins already under their belt.
