South Africa Paceman Rabada ruled out for a month leading South Africa suffer blow

Kagiso Rabada suffering with a groin strain and he is going to miss South Africa’s one dayers against Australia and tour of India.

While paying T20 series with Australia, this paceman suffered with an injury on Wednesday at Newlands in Cape Town. He underwent MRI scan for identifying the depth of the injury and the rate of seriousness.

Cricket South Africa on the eve of first ODI in Paarl released a statement that this 24 year old paceman will be sidelined from the squad for a month.

On March 12, three 50-overs fixtures start in India at Dharamsala and the Proteas after hosting Australia travels India.

CSA chief medical officer Dr.Shuaib Manjra said “It takes approximately four weeks for him to get cured from the injury which forcefully ruled him out of the both Australia and India ODI series.”

“ His quick and effective recovery will be ensured by the medical staff of CSA.”

Earlier this year Rabada missed limited over game against England but returned soon to face Australia. He picked two wickets with overall three appearances and tourists won the series by 2-1 score line in T20.
