Until a few days ago, 10-year-old Sushila Meena lived a quiet life in a small village in Rajasthan, India.
Her life changed when legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar shared a video of her bowling on social media. He praised her unique bowling style, comparing it to Zaheer Khan, a former Indian bowler known for his skill and creativity with the ball.
The video quickly became popular, gaining millions of views and thousands of shares. But there’s an unexpected twist—Sushila Meena doesn’t know who Sachin Tendulkar is.

“I don’t know him,” she says shyly, adding that her family doesn’t have a TV, so she’s never watched cricket. Despite this, she feels thankful for his kind words.
Sushila comes from a humble tribal family, but the video has made her famous. People from all walks of life—politicians, activists, and even distant relatives—now want to meet her and take pictures with her.
Still adjusting to her sudden fame, Sushila smiles for photos, unsure of how to describe her feelings about this big change in her life.
