Following a historic victory at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the prize money distribution for all participating teams. Team India, having defeated New Zealand in a thrilling final in Ahmedabad, walked away with the largest share of the players’ prize pool.
The 2026 tournament featured a record-breaking total purse of INR 93.37 crore ($11.25 million), reflecting the massive growth and commercial success of the T20 format.

The payouts are calculated based on a combination of base participation fees ($225,000), win bonuses in the group and Super 8 stages, and final tournament placement.

- Tournament Stage: Associate nations like Italy, Netherlands, UAE, and Nepal each took home INR 2.13 Crore ($256,154).
- Base Participation: Canada, Namibia, and Oman received INR 1.87 Crore ($225,000) each.
