KKR fast bowler Vaibhav Arora currently playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26 said that when he’s feeling low or needs motivation, he reaches out to India international fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, who he’s known since their youth cricket days and training in Punjab camps. Arora said that talking to Arshdeep always gives him a positive boost and helps him refocus before hitting the field.
The backstory
- Arora has been one of Kolkata Knight Riders’ more impressive bowlers in recent Indian Premier League seasons and has been building his domestic cricket credentials as well.
- Arshdeep Singh, a left-arm pacer and prominent member of the Indian team, is one of India’s top T20 wicket-takers, and Arora looks up to him both as a friend and role model.

In the same interview, Arora also praised the strong bowling competition within the KKR squad, saying that having several quality bowlers pushes everyone to perform better something he sees as beneficial ahead of IPL 2026.
