After his first day on the field, Devdutt Padikkal <\/a><\/strong>remembered the night before his Test debut and said he had a hard time sleeping because he was so nervous about the match. Padikkal showed off his skills in his debut game against England at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala<\/a><\/strong>. He confidently scored a half-century, helping India take a lead of over 200 runs on the second day of the fifth Test match. People watching were impressed by Padikkal’s excellent shots, especially his drives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During his time at bat, Padikkal hit 10 fours and a six in 103 balls. But he couldn’t turn his good start into a score of 100 or more and was out by a special delivery from Shoaib Bashir.<\/p>\n\n\n\nDevdutt<\/strong> <\/em>Padikkal was chosen for India’s team for the last two Tests when KL Rahul <\/a>got injured. He had to wait for his chance and sat on the bench in Ranchi until he finally got to play in Dharamsala.<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n
