In a cricket match between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United on Sunday, March 10, Usman Khan, a batter for Multan Sultans, made a remarkable achievement. He scored 100 runs off just 50 balls, <\/strong>setting a new record in the PSL. His century came at a strikingly fast pace, with a strike rate of 200. This helped the Sultans reach a total score of 228\/4 in Rawalpindi on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Although Islamabad United managed to chase down the score in 20 overs and win the match by three wickets, Usman’s performance was a highlight<\/strong>. He hit 15 fours and three sixes during his innings. This was Usman’s second century in the ongoing PSL season<\/strong><\/a>, following his unbeaten 106 against Karachi Kings the previous Sunday. Notably, he also holds the record for the fastest century in the league, scoring a hundred in just 36 balls against Quetta Gladiators in PSL 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In Islamabad’s chase, Colin Munro played a crucial role with a quick 84 runs off 40 balls<\/strong>. Skipper Shadab Khan contributed 54 runs off 31 balls<\/strong>, while Haider Ali, Faheem Ashraf, and Imad Wasim also made valuable contributions with 19, 23, and 30 runs respectively. The lower-order players’ quick runs were vital in Islamabad’s successful chase.
