Australia’s fast bowler Mitchell Starc is looking forward to facing India’s top batter Virat Kohli in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

In the past, Kohli has often come out on top when playing against Starc in Test matches. Kohli has scored 291 runs at an average of 59.00, while Starc has only managed to get him out four times in 19 innings.

Recently, Mitchell Starc talked about their rivalry, saying, “I enjoy playing against Virat Kohli because we’ve faced each other many times. We’ve had some good battles. I’ve gotten him out once or twice, and he’s scored quite a few runs against me. It’s always a tough and exciting contest that we both enjoy.”

The excitement continues as Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell talks about the interesting battle between India’s Virat Kohli and Australia’s Steve Smith.

Maxwell pointed out how important both players will be in deciding the series, saying, “The way Steve Smith and Virat Kohli play will show their dominance in the series and could impact who wins the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. One or both of them will likely score a lot of runs, and it’s going to be exciting to watch two of the best players of our time compete.”

The Border-Gavaskar series is set to start on November 22, with the first Test in Perth. Fans and experts are eager to see how these matchups play out on the field.
