India vs South Africa 1st T20I Highlights: Suryakumar Yadav and KL Rahul steadied the Indian innings after fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada, Wayne Parnell and Anrich Nortje all made the most of the fiery conditions in Thiruvananthapuram to dismiss Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli early.
Earlier, the Indian pacers had done the same with better results, with Arshdeep Singh and Deepak Chahar sending the South Africa top order tumbling within the first four overs.
South Africa managed to limp to a score of 106/8. While it looked like South Africa could just make life difficult for India despite the low target, Suryakumar and Rahul steadied the chase and led India to what ended up being a comfortable win.
